Description
A flaky, golden pastry wrapped around a warm Oreo, perfectly cooked in the air fryer for a crispy yet gooey dessert in minutes. Ideal for quick treats or sweet cravings.
Ingredients
6 uncooked pork-free crescent dough rolls (such as Pillsbury)
12 Oreo cookies (any flavor or reduced-sugar variant)
Optional: 1 egg wash (1 egg + 1 tablespoon milk or non-dairy milk) for a shiny golden crust
Optional: Sugar or cinnamon sugar, for sprinkling
Instructions
Place one Oreo cookie in the center of each crescent dough roll.
Fold the dough over the cookie to enclose it, pressing the edges to seal securely.
If using an egg wash, brush the tops of the dough with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar or cinnamon sugar.
Place the sealed dough-wrapped Oreos in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overlapping.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cook for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, experiment with Oreo flavors like peanut butter or mint.
Dough-wrapped Oreos can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours before air frying.
If using mini Oreos, adjust baking time accordingly as they will cook faster.
