Ingredients
1 large sweet potato (about 200g), washed and cleaned
1 tablespoon oil (vegetable, olive, or avocado)
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
Wash and peel the sweet potato.
Cut into 1-inch (2-3cm) sticks (6-8 per potato).
In a bowl, combine oil, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Toss sweet potato sticks until evenly coated.
Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 375°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.
Flip the fries, then air fry for another 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
Adjust spices to taste (e.g., add turmeric or coriander for extra depth). Flip halfway for even cooking. Toss with a light sprinkle of sea salt after cooking if desired. Stores in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
