A quick, healthy dish where tender salmon and crisp asparagus are air-fried with minimal effort. Fresh herbs, olive oil, and lemon elevate this simple, nutritious meal.
Ingredients
4 oz salmon fillet (divide into 4 pieces)
12 asparagus spears (trimmed)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic (minced)
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tsp dried dill (or fresh parsley)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp lemon juice (optional finish)
Cooking spray (optional)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes
Place salmon fillets in air fryer basket
Drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil, sprinkle garlic, zest, dill, salt, and pepper
Air fry salmon for 8 minutes
Add trimmed asparagus to basket, cook salmon and asparagus together for 2-3 minutes
Brush salmon with lemon juice if using
Let rest 2 minutes before serving
Notes
Use halal-certified butter if substituting oil
Adjust cooking time for thicker salmon
Substitute thyme for dill if preferred
For extra crisp asparagus, spray with oil before cooking
