Description
Crispy Air Fryer Tortellini are golden, cheese-filled pasta bites made with an air fryer for a healthier, less oily crunch. Perfect for gatherings or quick family meals, these bite-sized Italian-inspired snacks combine pillowy centers with a savory, herb-seasoned crust.
Ingredients
12 ounces store-bought cheese-filled tortellini (no meat or pork)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil (for light coating, optional)
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C)
In a large bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper
Toss tortellini gently in the flour mixture until evenly coated
Lightly brush or spray the air fryer basket with olive oil for non-stick results
Arrange tortellini in a single layer in the fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch or crowd
Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy
Let cool slightly before serving
Notes
For extra crunch, toss tortellini in panko breadcrumbs instead of all-purpose flour
Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure even browning
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days
