Ingredients
1.5 lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken tenders
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp garlic powder
1 cups panko breadcrumbs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil spray (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
In a shallow bowl, mix flour and salt.
In another bowl, combine panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Dredge each tender in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
Coat the floured tenders in the panko mixture, pressing to adhere.
Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Spray lightly with olive oil if desired.
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Notes
Serve with honey mustard or marinara sauce for extra flavor.
Freeze unbaked tenders (in an airtight container) for up to 3 months; air fry from frozen, adding 2-3 minutes to cooking time.
For dairy-free, substitute nutritionally complete vegan Parmesan.
