Description

Crispy, flaky salmon bites coated in a golden, sweet-spicy rub. Ready in 16 minutes, these flavorful morsels are perfect for tacos, grain bowls, or standalone meals with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb (450g) salmon fillet, cubed
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp paprika
1 ½ tbsp packed brown sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
12 tbsp olive oil (for coating)
Optional: ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)
Optional: 1 tbsp soy sauce (gluten-free if needed)

Instructions

Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
In a bowl, mix chili powder, paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Toss salmon cubes in olive oil, then coat evenly with the spice mixture. Add panko if using.
Arrange salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
Serve immediately with sides of choice.

Notes

For crisper bites, pat salmon dry before seasoning.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Vegans: Substitute tofu cubes for salmon and use tamari instead of soy sauce.
Add a drizzle of lime or honey just before serving for extra brightness.
