Crunchy, caramelized salmon bites with a honey-garlic glaze and toasted sesame seeds, ready in 20 minutes. A balanced, healthy dish with a sweet-and-savory flavor profile and tender, juicy salmon inside.
Ingredients
450g salmon fillet, deboned and cut into 1” cubes
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp tamari (alcohol-free soy sauce)
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil for coating
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C)
Place salmon cubes in a bowl, toss with cornstarch for even coating
Sprinkle sesame seeds over salmon
Drizzle with olive oil
Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy
Combine honey, tamari, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes in a small saucepan
Simmer over medium heat, stirring until thickened
Pour glaze over salmon, air fry 2 more minutes until sticky
Serve with extra sesame seeds and lemon wedges
Notes
Ensure salmon is fully deboned before cutting
Adjust chili flakes for spice level
Drizzle leftover glaze over rice for extra flavor
