Crispy, garlic-infused chicken bites coated in Parmesan and seasonings, cooked to perfection in an air fryer for a healthy, family-friendly dish that balances flavor and convenience.
Ingredients
500g boneless chicken breasts (cut into 1cm cubes)
2 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 large egg (beaten)
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
Flatten chicken cubes with a rolling pin.
Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper in a bowl.
Dip chicken in seasoned flour, then egg, then press into Parmesan-coated breadcrumbs.
Place in air fryer basket, separating pieces with parchment paper.
Brush lightly with olive oil for extra crispiness.
Air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
Notes
For a halal version, use non-animal rennet Parmesan.
Chicken can be baked (200°C/400°F) for 15-18 minutes if no air fryer is available.
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
