Description
Crispy, juicy steak cubes bathed in a savory garlic butter sauce, cooked in an air fryer for a quick, indulgent meal. Perfect for weeknights or special occasions with bold, herb-kissed flavors and minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
1 large sirloin steak (650g), trimmed and cubed into 1½-inch pieces
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
½ teaspoon fine sea salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder (freshly minced garlic if desired)
¼ teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
1½ tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
dash of olive oil (optional, for air fryer spritz)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes
In a bowl, combine cubed steak, paprika, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and chili flakes
Toss to coat evenly
Place steak in a single layer in air fryer basket (cooking in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding)
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden browned and cooked to desired doneness
Transfer to a bowl, add melted butter, parsley, and a drizzle of olive oil (if desired) to the steak and gently toss to coat
Serve warm with your choice of sides
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate the steak in the seasoning mixture for 20 minutes beforehand.
Use halal-certified steak if required.
Garlic butter can also be custom-made by sautéing minced garlic in butter with parsley.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
