Ingredients
4 large skin-on chicken drumsticks (about 1.5 lbs total)
2 tablespoons softened butter
1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
1 teaspoon chopped fresh herbs (e.g., thyme, rosemary)
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes
Pat drumsticks dry with paper towels
Mix 2 tablespoons butter with 1 teaspoon garlic and 1 teaspoon fresh herbs in a bowl
Securely lift the skin off each drumstick and spread the herb butter underneath
Toss drumsticks with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl
Arrange drumsticks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping
Cook at 400°F for 20 minutes
Flip drumsticks gently
Cook for an additional 8-10 minutes until golden crisp
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving
